Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction
Join us this fall for a journey towards greater self-awareness and well-being.
The Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course framework is a well-known and often-researched approach to investigating mindfulness. Whether you’re seeking to increase self-awareness, build resilience, or develop a strong foundation for starting a mindfulness practice, this course offers an opportunity to explore these and more.
Benefits may include increased focus, improved pain management, better sleep, reduced stress, and positive impacts on anxiety and depression.
Watch Dot share the life-changing benefits of mindfulness and preview our upcoming program:
What to Expect
The course is experiential, with a mix of mindfulness practice and discussions on perception, emotions, and relationship strength. Each class offers practical tools to help you navigate challenges and cultivate gratitude, patience, and acceptance.
Research Opportunity
This fall, you have the option to participate in a research study conducted by Dr. Clifford Saron and his team at UC Davis. This study explores the effects of mindfulness on emotional and social reactions. Participation is optional and compensated up to $230
